The restaurant’s origins can be traced back to an ancient Tuscan tavern opened in 1874, in the part of the hotel in Campo San Zaccaria. The owners who ran the establishment lived on the upper floor, respectively the grandparents and cousin of the current proprietors, who had come from Tuscany to Venice to start their restaurant and hotel business.
